I am currently 31 years old, and was working 3 days a week in an adult foster home for mentally retarded and developmentally
disabled people, until the owner decided to close the home. I've been a caregiver in one form or another for the last ten
years. It's something I very much enjoy.
I have been in a relationship now for a little over 4 years- he is an absolutely wonderful man, named Jim,
and he accepts my rat obsession with good grace. He has two children, JD, who is pictured on my home page with Bruce the cat,
and Tiffany, who lives in Silverton with our grandson, Colby. Colby is 3 now, and he is one of the lights of my life. I have
no children of my own, at least not human, but I do love them, and am grateful to have Jim and his children in my life. All
in all, I come from a very loving family, and I thank the powers that be every day for them.
